Plastic Extruders is a founder member of the UK's EFSA (Entrance Flooring Systems Association). The company makes a range of entrance matting systems and is actively involved in research to measure the amount of soil generally removed by entrance flooring systems in the UK. Research has shown that the soles of shoes bring at least 80% of dirt entering a building. Flexigrid is also proven as an effective undershoe dirt removal product for interior and exterior locations.
Exceptionally hardwearing, heavy duty, Flexigrid matting has been developed by Plastic Extruders (Plastex) for the toughest applications and where large levels of liquids and debris can be generated by production processes.
The quality of raw materials and method of manufacture ensure Flexigrid's longevity and performance, whilst open grid construction utilises welding technology that further strengthens the product. Flexigrid has a large open grid design to allow bigger pieces of debris, including metal, to fall through the matting, maximum self-drainage and an extra aggressive slip resistant tread for added safety.
Plastex tests all its industrial and commercial products to DIN 51130 and Flexigrid meets the highest possible V10 rating for Liquid Drainage, dispersing 10 cm³ / dm². It also carries a high, R11 slip resistant rating and has essential chemical and oil resistance for heavy duty environments.
Environmentally friendly, Flexigrid is manufactured from recycled factory waste that is in turn 100% recyclable at the end of its use.
